Tragedy is no big deal

Synopsis:
"I'm going to explain the last night I went out to party. I have an awkward but optimistic memory. We were a mass dancing in the edges. It awoke with the anachronistic delirium of a conversation with Janis Joplin. Supernatural. Dancing on the border. We were at least at times a sharp mass, then I was very hungry and more thirsty for all that I don't know yet. Surely that night was not as I tell it to you. The clarity we didn't ask for made the world too sharp and we still don't like. We danced inside the rifts. A bunch of people dancing wildly. Wonderful. Janis, don't let me down"
Long piece (‘55)
Created and performed by Julia Irango, with original music by Manuel Solá and costumes by Matias Zanotti. Tragedy is no big deal goes through youth as a state of mind: can we stay alive when everything around us is dying?
Tragedy is no big deal has been supported by the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC) and the Residencias de Creación 2020 of the Sala Carme Teatre in Valencia.

«Without a doubt, it’s a piece that draws the audience in, especially those who appreciate new and experimental stage works.»

José Vicente Peiró (Las Provincias).
