Technology brings us closer when we are far apart, but… paradoxically, it pushes us away when we are side by side. The omnipresence of electronic communication devices has created new relational habits. What if the closeness that technology promises is just an illusion?
InCom, created and performed by Mónika Vázquez and Andrea Torres, is a piece that invites reflection on the omnipresence of social networks and technological oversaturation in a light, fresh, and carefree way. Designed for urban and unconventional spaces, it can also be performed in theaters.
InCom was part of the 1st Residency Program for Young Local Artists by the Youth Department of the Valencia City Council in 2018.
